I think coach dooley and the staff did a great with this class with everthing that has happened since november,players leaving,coaching changes ,decommits it could have been alot worse off so all in all great job pretty good looking class signed today

It doesnt really matter where the "Experts" have us ranked. We got some much needed help at possitions of need (DB, and DL). Sure, in a perfect world we would have reloaded our Lb corp with Peters, and Dalton. What we did pull off is some of the most tallent at wide reciever, in one signing class, that I can remember. Exellent effort by Dooley and staff.

Been at work since 7 this morning. Checked in on signings on my cell a couple of times. All I can say is this coaching staff deserves a tremendous round of applause for landing this class. I knew some of these kids were iffy but except for the 2, all stayed loyal to the Orange. Looking forward to a great season. GO VOLS!

I understand the difficulty he is facing. However, he brought a lot of it on himself by being out coached by inferior teams with inferior resources. This is the year he has to show results! Winning cures everything. Just win and the naysayers will be much less vocal and the positive among us will be able to have a greater voice. I really want to believe he will be successful. Other than Kentucky 2011, please point out one team with inferior talent that has beaten UT in the past 2 years. As far as I can tell, Dooley has beaten all of the teams that he was supposed to beat, played tough in most of those games for a half or more, and done it the right way.
Yes, UT is going to have to win some games this year. Except for Alabama, UT will not be outclassed in any games. Georgia will be toughin Athens. South Carolina will be tough. In my opinion, the other 9 games are definitely winnable. Time will tell.

there is a link to a video from a guy name "big vol daddy". Its really sad that people waste their time making videos bashing "their" team's coaches based on a top 20 recruiting class. CDD and staff held together a good class of guys that are going to fill needs and not just roster spots. Its a shame that there are guys out there like this.

It's funny to me that people bash dooley so readily, basing everything on wins and losses. While they are important, imo I don't believe dooley came here with the mindset to win immediately. I think his first goal was and still is to lay ground work for a dynasty. Make UT a place of integrity and highly respected nationally. A place where parents and kids feel they will be a part team that respects each other and works hard, also a place for an education. That takes time especially after kiffen and various other player and coach mishaps, that lead to bad press. And that doesn't lead to quality recruits. With everything that has happened or will happen I am proud of the way dooley has handled it, valueing honesty and professionalism, and I'm sure he won't let us down in that respect either. So.. be patient naysayers, the wins will come, and hot seat or not if UT fires him next year I bet we won't see at least a conf. Title for a while.
