Vanderbilt's Memorial Gymnasium
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee is set to play another big SEC road game against another long-time rival, and govols247 is in the house to bring you the latest.
Third-year coach Cuonzo Martin and his Vols (14-7, 5-3 SEC) are scheduled to play at long-time, in-state rival Vanderbilt (12-8, 4-4) at 8 p.m. EST in Memorial Gymnasium, and the game will be broadcast online by ESPN3.com.
Memorial hasn’t been the kindest place to Tennessee over the year — the Commodores have a 93-24 all-time edge on their home floor in this series — but the Vols have won three of their past seven games in the Dores’ downtown Nashville gym.
Despite playing with just seven healthy, scholarship players, Kevin Stallings’ Commodores have won their past three SEC games and would have a winning record in league play if they top Tennessee tonight. The Vols also are playing well, though, blowing out Ole Miss and Alabama last week in two games they never trailed.
Updates and analysis from tonight’s game, as well as quotes and notes from postgame interviews with players and coaches from both teams, will be included in this thread.
Got a question? Or just a comment? This thread is the place for both.
