    • This team quit ! Patterson should have been benched for his play . Bray was lost and confused . I see no reason to play Kentucky go ahead and forfeit now , fire Dooley and the entire staff and we start over . Hell even the fans at the game quit , sad day to be a Volunteer . Give Franklin credit he's kicked our butts out coached us, out recruited us and out played us with a smaller less talented team .

      Wow. Started this game with wine and finished with Crown. Guess what? Alcohol wasn't the answer. Never is. It's kinda sad when a good guy loses his job but it happens. Honestly I hope we loose at least 2 underclassmen to the draft. Key position players have to lead and that hasn't happened on this team . Babies can't be men. Sorry for the negative words. But something gotta change.

      It's not his fault the contract reads the way it does I guess it's kinda smart on his behalf. But I will bet you he would trade it all for a win. Coaches don't coach to lose in order to get to exercise clauses in contracts. These ridiculous coaches salaries are not Dooley's fault. He just gets to share in the results of such contracts

      I agree---the whole team quit in the third quarter and Bray has gone to the "dawgs"--he is a quitter--cant produce when the pressure is on. Surely on Monday there will be an announcement about a new coach ---he has to start recruiting now if there is to be any hope of a decent class in Feb. Today is a sad day in the history of Vol football. My only bright spot was watching Kiffin getting his butt whipped! I have been a Vol fan and alumni for nearly 50 years and I will support the team ---win or lose---so please Mr AD---get us some coaches who can recruit and reinstate the Tennessee football winning tradition.

      Agreed. We gotta figure out a way to fix our Vols! Our opponents have quit laughing and now they've begun to feel sorry for us. Now that's sad.

    • I have been a UT fan my entire life. I cheer for them every year and every game. Never in my nearly forty years have I ever said or felt the following about the team until now "I don't care". I just want it to be over.

    • Winning isn't everything... but Jesus, gettin beaten this badly by this team is just unbearable. I don't pretend to understand what it would take to fix this, but I cannot WAIT for it to happen. Dooley is a good man, and I will forever appreciate everything he did to try to right the ship-- and utterly unlike Kiffin, I truly wish him all the best. But now it's time for Hart to earn a paycheck or an unemployment check. Let's beat the h@ll out of Kentucky and start building a new TN tradition!!!!

    • I have never seen a qb that doesn't have a bad day. Bray had a bad day, we still would have needed more than 41 points to win. If you have a defense you can still compete and win games when your qb is off. It is not on Bray, he is not the problem. He has not lost us any of these games. I still say our player talent is better than Vandy, Missouri, Mississippi State, and we got out coached. Could have beaten Georgia and South Carolina with less talent if we had coached better. In my opinion this team could have won 5 more games with better coaching.

    • Step up performance in the secondary? Are you kidding me!! This secondary is the worst in run support I've ever witnessed and as usual I lost count of how many catches were made with no defender within 5 yards..Vandy broke play after play running outside as I watched the secondary not even attempt an arm tackle..Wagner is so pitifully bad that he could be replaced by the kick holder! It baffles me that there is never a safety in the middle of the field to make a stop after the middle linebacker gets taken out of the play..Isn't that why they are called Safety's..Our secondary would be 2nd string on most FCS teams

    • The secondary, as in the case of most of this dismal season, by far is the most disappointing. The absolute bottom for me was watching the end around where a Vandy player outran our entire team on what seemed to be a 80 yard run. Since when does Vandy have more speed than the Vols!?!
