Carl Lawson likely will visit North Carolina next. He has taken two officials.

Tennessee apparently made a strong impression on Carl Lawson of Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton during the five-star defensive end's weekend official to Knoxville.

Since he reiterates that he is still an Auburn commit after having such a "great visit" with us, then I am concerned.

im going to say 'that jenkins flipping..and jenkins did say he was in lawson ear
another thing he said he is no longer going to olemiss..that tells me its auburn&tenn...and i think we win this 1..and if the can pull barber in that iceing
on the cake..i might be wrong he name a ton of reason he liked tenn.
early playing time might be the reason he flipps..and i also say go ahead and add
north to this class as well....go vols

I love the fact that UT is showing clips of Reggie White (one of the greatest DL in history). That may sell a recruit that wants to be the next RW or Doug Atkins for that matter. UT has such a great history, and to think Lane Kiffin was using Reggie Bush highlights to recruit while coaching at UT is an abomination.

The fact you can pull tape from every player in UT history makes me want to spend a long afternoon (or weekend) in that film room myself!

A very good job of recruiting Lawson. IMO it is less than 50/50 he becomes a VOL but still a good recruit and worth the effort.

I know it is popular to bash Kiffin on this board but I have no problem with a coach showing his Heisman winning NFL 1st round draft picks to recruits...even if it is from another school. It shows what players can do in his system and what they can achieve. In fact, I wish CBJ had more well known NFL players to show recruits.

Can't wait till NSD this staff is really working hard and I think it will pay off. We might not have a great class but top 25 for sure, with a little luck and some more hard work we could pull some guy's nobody includeing most of us thought we had a chance at 2 months ago. Roll those sleeves up the rest of the way and stay the course it just takes 1 then the rest will fallow.
