Is it accurate that Patterson averaged 51.1 yards on kickoff returns at Hutchinson? I just read it again on here, I knew I read it somewhere. That's amazing.

Any validity to the word that I'm hearing on Kenneth Bynum perhaps being added to this class? He's been a Cincy commit but apparently he's visiting Tennessee this weekend after a last second offer?

The more I think about it, the more I think the 3 RBs will make or break this class. The WRs are super talented, the DLs are solid, McNeil looks like a stud, etc but the RBs are tougher to project and at a critical position of need. Each brings some unique skills but also some question marks. 2 low 3* and a 4* who some didn't project as a RB.
Hopefully we will look back in a few years and be impressed that UT was spot on with these guys. Because we really need these guys to contribute, basically from day 1, even if you believe Lane will step up this year.
If we hit on the RBs (or 2 of the 3), I feel pretty confident that this will turn out to be a really really good class overall.

He will be on his visit to TN with Mom and Dad on Monday. Dooley offered and said you don't have to commit on signing day but come see us. The guy held off and here we go. Not to big of a guy but recruited by a lot of schools and he is one of the top wrestlers in the state and is preparing for the district tournament, which begins this weekend. Most wrestlers are the for sure tacklers. We need this LB.
Plus: Stanford offered so must be intelligent.

I've had the same feeling since learning about the wrestling background. It could be interesting if Tennessee started recruiting more wreslter to convert to LB of DE. You already see the NFL drafting basketball players for TE (Gates and Jimmy Graham).
