Word from our sources close to Louisville is that they believe Charlie Strong now has an offer and is in negotiations with Louisville regarding a counter offer.

Kevin- do you believe it's a money thing with Strong? Something tells me we'll not get in a bidding war, especially since Jurich has publicly stated he'll pay him. To me, it seems like Strong would want recruits, stadium, passionate fans, etc. but I could be wrong.

Is it common practice to let your current school counter out of courtesy or does this tell us that he has a strong possibility of staying at Louisville?

He is staying at Louisville. They can match us financially and if he's going back to them to get a counter that means he wants to stay.

Strong and Jurich have had a storyline going. Jurich has had an extension on Strong's desk. Strong has stated publicly that he wants more of the walk, crowd support, facilities, etc of what a UT is. Its like selling a house. See what they bring to the table and then see the best offer you can get.
