You don't get it, younger people saw the Vols wipe the floor with the tide every year, it doesn't really spark a fire when youre blasting through the other team, but yes i agree that in the big picture Alabama will always be the main enemy, especially now that they are on their feet. Like the other guy said, we can't help how old we are.

Who is our #1 rivalry in your mind? I am in my 20's so by far its the Gators. I cannot stand anything about them. I think it has more to do with all the gator "fans" around here, rather then them winning all the time. Most of the gator "fans" in Tennessee haven't been there to see a game or no anything about them except for that one week out of the year. To me its just an easy way of saying u hate the vols for no reason.

For Tennessee, Alabama is the #1 Rivalry for all kinds of reasons. For me personally, I loathe Alabama from a Tennessee standpoint, but for me I HATE UGA and UF. One of my best friends is a UF fan, an annoying UF fan at that. I also grew up mostly around Atlanta so I had to deal with A LOT of UGA "fans". They are ridiculous. Most entitled fanbase in the country for no reason whatsoever. Extremely irritating. Any fan that barks when the ball is kicked should not be repsected. lol

I "don't get it"? Historically, UT-Alabama has ALWAYS been the game that UT fans circled on the calendar, not Florida. Even now, the Florida game is more for divisional bragging rights than anything else. You see more bama fans popping up on these boards the week of that game than you see Florida fans showing up during the week of that game, because of how big it is.
