  • Before going to work I just heard a little of Jimmy Hyams this morning on The Zone and he mentioned some players not happy with Dooley pointing them out in public and a comment by one of the players regarding finger pointing.
    This was the first I had heard this, any truth? Or is this just JH being negative? Because I also heard him suggest last week that Tauren P had given up.

  • I appreciate everyone's quick insight and comments.
    Not to stir the pot more, but he also made the comment that he thought this was the worst Tennessee team he had seen since covering them in 1985. Take it for what's it is worth, but I thought it was interesting since another thread on here has tackled that thought.

  • JImmy is probably right. I do not think Dooley cares if the players are happy or not... His comments are intended to make this team better. He is pushing them to be better not pandering to their sensitivities.

    I don't think he's given up, but Lane seems to be playing better right now. Like to see Dooley start him and see what happens, but that won't happen on senior day IMO
