Why the hate on the no-huddle? Couldnt that be part of the reason why we are having success running the ball? The ESPN announcers even stated it Saturday that the no-huddle was disrupting what Saban and Smart like to do which is constantly subbing in and out to get the perfect unit out there on every play. The no-huddle keeps you off balance and can keep a D gased when its run efficiently.

Why the hate on the play calling? We have scored more than 30 points numerous times this season, if Patterson jails one in against UGA, Hunter hauls in a few against MSU and Bama its a different outlook completely. Guys its not always the coaching more often then not its players not executing. scheming has been good this season, if players get lined up on defense and make the tackles they get to, the defense looks better. So everybody wants to hammer CDD, CJC, and CSS for all of the struggles, myself included, but the players are ultimately responsible for what has been happening the last month.

the downside is it wears our defense down and makes them even more vulnerable than they would be. i'm torn on the no huddle, because i would prefer to run the ball more, but one thing that it does in our favor is it makes it difficult for the defense to substitute, which obviously should help our running game and our passng game. one thing to note, you can run a no huddle without it being a "hurry up" offense. I think in more cases than not, that's what we do. We shouldn't be snaping the ball with 15 seconds left on the play clock. Correct me if I'm wrong (I usually am), but the no huddle can be run like Oregon (hurry up, snap it quickly) or like the Colts did and the Broncos do with Peyton (call the play at the line and use the clock, but prevent substitutions from the other team).
