1st game: Little USC vs. Candy, who you rooting for?

Since it's only 40something days until the most wonderful time of the year...
The first game of the season features two of the Big Orange Nation's most despised coaches in Spurrier and Franklin one of those "I wish the scoreboard would get stuck on zero and nobody wins" type of games.
Do you root for Spurrier because you want Candy to remain Candy and to lose any recruiting momentum they may have on the Vols?
Do you root for Franklin because an upset might open the door for a surprise SECE crown for the big orange?
I'll hang up and listen.

Definitely South Carolina!! I want Vandy to lose every game and get back to reality.....

Real good question...
I'd love to see Franklin lose....but on the whole winning the SECe is more important. So assuming vandy beats SC that would make us one step closer, and might lead us to controlling our own destiny if we can beat georgia and mizzu...I suppose I'll have to say I hope vandy wins cause SC is a bigger threat

Candy because this helps us most. Then they can lose the rest of there games.

I absolutely hate Vandy so I want them to lose, but I also have to admit I'm a little ashamed for caring about them as a Vol. I liked it better when I just thought they were kind of "cute" and uninteresting and they didn't matter to me because they were so god-awful (by the way, check last year's record, they are still god-awful).
Ultimately, I don't think they matter, so, I'm kind of leaning toward cheering for them, but then I imagine all those ESPN stories about Franklin that would be on Gameday that weekend and it's a little more than I can stomach. Maybe pull for USC and then cheer for Kentucky to beat USC?

Im going for south Carolina I hate 3 teams Vanderbilt Florida and Alabama so I'm definitely hoping south Carolina puts 50 on them

I hope South Carolina destroys them by 70.
A. USC winning big is good for the SEC, we want as many top 25 teams as possible on the schedule.
B. I'd rather play a highly ranked USC team than a ranked Vandy team.
C. Vandy is building momentum. Getting Hargreaves to visit shows people are taking them seriously, this needs to stop asap.

Living in Nashville, I really hope USCe puts it on Vandy. If Vandy wins that game, there small fan base will be more annoying and unbearable than ever.

If Vandy gets beat by 70 every game, i will be happy. There is not a team in the SEC that annoys me more than Vandy. South Car, Florida, and Georgia will always be tough, and that is ok. But, Vandy being this arrogant is annoying as no get out.

I do not care for either team. The only thing that matters to me is UT getting to the SEC Championship, so depending on what we need to get there is who I will be pulling for, but in no way will I be cheering for either. Go Vols!

F--- 'em both. Don't care who wins that game as long as the vols beat them both. Although, a little humble pie for the vandy fans in middle TN wouldn't be a bad thing, and anytime spurrier gets beat I smile. Either way as long as the vols win!!!!

Don't dislike Vandy or SC as they are both good schools. But, I really dislike Franklin and Spurrier!! 0-0 would be nice, do away with overtime that Sat.

In the Vandy/USCe game, I'm rooting for the Goodyear Blimp to crash into the stadium just before halftime.
But seriously folks, I hope USCe kicks a FG as time expires to win 73-0 over Vandy.

I'm looking way too far ahead here, but South Carolina has a brutal October. They finish with us. If the offense is healthy and clicking, we have a shot to upset them after they've had to play the likes of LSU and Florida on the road.
That being said, I'll take Vandy.
