2014 Recruiting Numbers Breakdown by Position...

  • QB: 1
    RB: 3
    WR: 3
    TE: 2
    OL: 5 (2 Jucos)
    DL: 6 (2 Jucos)
    LB: 4
    DB: 4
    K/P: 1

Feel free to recommend adjustments... This puts us at 29. We may not take a QB next year either. I think this is how it should play out.

  • I would suggest that 3 of those LB positions should be outside. We are going to be thin there.

Maybe with Gantz we want have to use a scholly on a K/P.

I think Jones will see Darr shank a few punts and decide otherwise, Palardy is gone, and who knows with Bullock. I think we bring in a guy but he could be a preferred walk on again.

  • Unless one of our QBs decides to transfer (Worley is a potential if he doesn't win the starting job), I would be fine not taking a QB next year. I think we also could afford only 2 WRs unless there are position changes like Croom to TE or Howard to RB.

3 RBs is the minimum. And one of them better be Jalen Hurd.

Most important positions for 2014 (in order): RB, OL, LB, DB

I think DL will be pretty important also next yr.

It is every year and we didn't get an elite pass rusher in this class, so we have to keep hunting that elusive creature.

  • 1 QB
    2-3 RBs
    2 OTs
    2-3 OGs/C
    2-3 WRs
    1-2 TEs
    2-3 DTs
    2-3 DEs
    3-5 LBs
    2 CBs
    2 S
    1 K/P

This is the minimum........prob more DBs/ athletes due to the legacys are loaded there.

Absolute must we land some elite players and as many as possible in 2014 at OT, LB, RB, DT and DE
