Well, if so, you'd best be circumspect about the new coach excitement until you see who he is. Unless and until we go totally in the tank (and I know we're teetering perilously over the edge now), I'm not going to be happy with another non-splash, hope to catch lightning in a bottle, hot, young up-and-comer hire.
I refuse to just "take it on faith" that Hart, the donors, and the other powers that be won't screw up this hire if it comes to that.
If CDD is fired, I of course hope they get it right, but as I feared when Fulmer was fired, it's been close to a comedy of errors since then.
I don't know how anyone other than a multi-millionaire donor could be in anything other than a wait and see mode now: wait to see if we have, ahem, "an opening", and if so, who they hire.
I've still got hope that Dooley turns it around, and that if he's fired, they get the new guy we need to turn it around. But I'm well past having "faith" in either.
