Agree. They've taken notice that a lot of posters have left due to flame fests and poor control of their boards. Combine that with the amount of info and stories Wes and Ryan put out, its easily the best place to be.

I see no reason for them to change a winning formula. Can't imagine they will.

There are a good number of us "Day One Oldtimers" who will do our best to help the staff police this place.

It's just like when you are lucky enough to move into a good neighborhood. You do what you can to keep the place up. We'll do the same thing here!

I haven't been here since day 1 because I was reluctant to pay for info. But I took advantage of the free trial last year and have never looked back. I will stand with yall on protecting our neighborhood. It's a place we can all come to and feel safe. I come to share my love for Tennessee sports with others who come to do the same. I have learned so much on this board and without mentioning names,have come to respect many posters' opinions and insight. I realize they don't just throw it out there if they don't have a certain degree of confidence that it's fact. I'm glad we don't all agree on everything because I don't want to read the same post over and over. It causes us to think a little and sometimes, even change our minds about a topic. Why? Because of the respect shown for each other and the opinions offered. Wes and Ryan, if I could never read anyone else's news, interviews, etc. I would be content. If I hear it from you, it's gospel. Thanks for that kind of integrity in your journalism. Welcome to all who come over to give us try. We'll give you a little time to adjust because you can let your defenses down over here. Become a part of our neighborhood but keep your yard clean and the grass mowed. And tell us how you feel, but do it in a way that promotes discussion and not bashing. Don't want robots, just folks that want to talk about all things Vol in a friendly, civil way. Thanks for letting me be a part of it. GO VOLS!

Thanks for this thread, everyone. Means more than you can possibly know. We worked very hard to set the tone early, and the posters stepped up and essentially moderated the board for us shortly thereafter.

We are growing every day, and I think our responsiveness on the boards and the moderation of the boards is a big part of it. This thread solidifies that feeling.

I left TOS because there were a select few posters that were being protected despite their constant Dooley and tn player bashing. The stuff they let those guys say is unreal. It woukd make me so mad that it was allowed. It's my theory that they know the mods and are there to keep the board riled up. I have very much enjoyed the class on this board and ability to converse with true fans that care about the university.
