The CheckerBoard

Is it just me or is it not a very refreshing feeling to have a coach who communicates with a fan base daily and sometimes multiple times a day via technology? I swear I feel more comfortable with Coach Jones in his 5 days as our coach than I ever did in the 3 years Dooley was here. Granted a steady stream of twitter feeds doesn't mean he's going to be any more or less successful but to me I think he's going to have even more people pulling for him because he appears to acknowledge that we as fans want to her from him.

His MO has already had a very positive impact on me and I am pulling for him now even more and I hope the sceptics will join in too.
