forgive my bias but why is this coach not hiring people with sec experience? I'm having a hard time with the hiring of all the coaches with experience from north of the Mason Dixon line. There is clearly a difference between the two subcultures. Walking into a home in the south is very different from one in other sections of the country, not better or worse, just different.

According to NIU bio
"Manning joins the Huskie staff after spending the 2012 season at Cincinnati as running backs coach. The Bearcats led the BIG EAST, and ranked 30th in the country in rushing offense and were the top scoring offense in the league in 2012. Cincinnati's George Winn posted the second-best rushing season in school history and averaged 102.6 yards per game for the 10-3 Bearcats."
I believe that's better than recent UT production.
