A plug for the Erik Ainge show on TSR

  • Just found Tennessee Sports Radio. I'm in ATL so found the TSR Ap and listened to the Erik Ainge show for the first time today. I will never listen to Doc, Jeff and Heather in the Morning again. EA knows his stuff, is a great communicator, has great understanding and knowledge. Not going to go into detail and trash DJHITM on Sports Animal. Just say, EA Show is much, much better.

All the other shows on Sports Animal and all the other hosts are really good in my opinion.

As a fellow Atlanta-area Vols fan, TSR saves me from drowning in the deluge of UGA-related crap on Atlanta radio (especially the Cox-owned stations).

Slightly OT, but are there any solid Tennessee fan clubs in/around Atlanta with whom we could watch games?

Hello fellow Atlanta UT fan! The Atlanta chapter of the TN Alumni Association always has a sports bar that hosts TN games. They do a good job but I prefer to watch at home because it's easier to follow the game and I don't have to watch what I say as much. I would encourage you to get a TN alumni tag here in GA if you haven't already. They look really good and it got me out of a ticket in TN last year!

  • Yep, the Atlanta Big Orange Club is the largest outside of the state of Tennessee. Not sure how old you are but there is a very active young alumni group as well. I am 53 so am outside of that sphere.
