Bill Curry just coached his last game at Georgia State and they have an opening. Dooley seems like a perfect fit for that program. It's a smaller program that is making a move to play with the big boys. Plus his last name still carries cache around Georgia and his father served as a consultant in helping to start up the football program there. As a bonus their primary color is blue so he wouldn't have to have special pants made, he could buy them off the shelf.

I think Dooley can still be a good head coach. He probably should learn one side of the ball really well. Go become an offensive or defensive coordinator. Concentrate on personnel packages and situations and making substitutions smoothly. Then get a head job at a mid-major, win alot more than he loses, and prove he's grown enough to coach with the big boys.
