Again I have confirmed through multiple sources that Gus Malzahn will be the next Head Football Coach at Auburn.

Can someone answer why Auburn hired Malzahn? I just don't see why you fire Chizik and hire what was his first lieutenant. Sure they were awful this year without Malzahn running the offense, but its not like they were great last year when he was still there. I just feel if you are going to fire your HC you should try and see a change. I would think Malzahn would have a hard time firing a lot of the guys on the staff and the culture will be the same as it has been. Maybe he will win big, but I feel if you fire your head coach you should be trying something new, in this day and age its too expensive not to.

I'm actually proud of Auburn for once. I thought they would be low enough to hire Petrino, but they didn't.
