***AWESOME event for Middle Tennessee Vols fans!!!***

  • Folks,

    We are very excited to announce that we are partnering with The Davidson County UT Alumni Chapter to host a football preview event on Thursday, Aug. 23 at Cabana in Nashville.

    Wes and Ryan will share predictions for each game, give behind-the-scenes insights into the team and coaching staff, and also discuss 2013 recruiting.

    There will be plenty of time for a question and answer session as well. I know we answer almost all your questions on the board, but this is another chance to get us face to face.

    Glad to hear that shoeless - the more the merrier! We had a Signing Day event there in February and had 200+ in attendance, so we're hoping for the same next week. And why wouldn't there be more with the Experts from 247 coming out to share the inside scoop?

    Tell your friends and come on out for a great time with fellow Vol fans!!!!

    BTW, as Kevin said, you can certainly pay at the door but it would really help if you pre-register so you don't have to wait in line to register and you can come right on in.

    Don't forget what I told you about the Alumni Association also being at Stats with us on Gameday at the Dome. You guys could work the room there as well.

    I believe that event is just for UT Young Alumni — just a small portion of the alumni association — but, yes, there's a chance we'll be there at some point.

    For what it's worth, I recently heard about another group that's planning to be at Stats that day. Has anyone looked into the group here from the board shifting its meeting location to the nearby place where Swain and Rucker will be broadcasting that day? There'd probably be a lot more space for everyone to meet there, and it sounds like a pretty cool place where everyone still could grab a drink. I believe it's called Castleberry Inn.
