If we fire Dooley after a winning season, we will only HVS the option of begging Fulmer to come back. The program has been mismanaged and is only now turning a corner.
BTW - hate to jinx it but we have not had major issues with behaviour since Dooley has been here. He seems to be changin things.

LSU. The ref's didn't do us any favors. But if there weren't 42 Tennessee jerseys on the field none of that would have mattered. There have been several plays where we've lined up with 10 guys.
UAB 2010 was nearly a disaster if not for an amazing play in OT by D. Moore.
Please please don't get me wrong. I know I'm fairly new here but im pulling for Dooley to win. I know it's a whole lot better for our program that he does. I just need to see something more to believe.

Brother, I'm not trying to flame you here. Just wanting to understand. The 42 players, as you said, was a penalty. How is that mismanagement?? If someone would have been offside on the play, another penalty, would that have been mismanagement too? I'm just sayin'......because young guys screw up it is not mismangment. Lining up with 10 guys.....not a penalty.....somebody (a player) screwed up and didn't recognize they were supposed to be out there. UAB 2010......lack of talent and performance..mismanaged? I just think some of these criticisms of the coach come from frustration rather than reality. we want to win and when we don't.......it must be Coach Dooley. People who don't understand the situation, meaning the roster...lack of SEC talent..etc., and fair weather fans who don't know any better,not you 5for3, always are quick to blame the head coach.

W/K/R....can you guys add the details od Coach Dooley's contract as far as buyout on both sides. I know it was posted when he was hired but I don't remember the details....seems to me there were pretty large buyouts in the first 5 years.

If you are a smart supporter you realize you have a smart, organized coach that seems to love it here, has a lot of upside and walked into a ground-zero situation. And we aren't going to give him 5 years to turn it around? Dunno, seems like many of our instant gratification fans are the problem. As a graduate and letterman and season ticket holder, I am personally not even remotely interested in supporting a football program that turns over head coaches every 4 years.

+1 He needs 5 years to turn it around...this season we will see improvement on the field and cap it off with a top 10-15 signing class.
