Jones has a series of videos on Youtube that he calls "The Grind." He states that "You sleep. I grind." He looks like a kid who will work hard and he's definitely a LOT bigger than he was in high school. I've heard some people talk about his stats, not too many tackles and only a couple of pass break ups, but if you're good enough that the opposing team won't even bother throwing to your side, that's a GOOD THING. Sounds like a great pickup for our D backfield. 20 lbs heavier than when left Carver and still has the speed. We've lacked a good lockdown CB or two for so long (think Teague, Coleman)! I am so optimistic that CBJ and staff can turn us around.....just seems like a better fit for us than CDD, even though CDD is a good man just not right for HC at our beloved UT. The good corners never have big stats for that very reason. Teams were known for avoiding Deion Sanders at any cost when he played CB in the league, and most of his INTs and PBUs came when the QB made an errant throw or had no choice but to throw to his side of the field. When you have a shutdown corner like that, you effectively narrow the field for the offense because they focus so much effort on the opposite side.

big fan of this. we NEED CB's...badly. hopefully he can come in and compete immediately. I know B-Moore and Lanier had an adjustment time, so im hoping he can come in and pick it up quicker
