Arky is making a push for Riley Fergie

  • Makes sense given chaney had a good relationship with him.

    I have no issue with it at all and I'll tell you why........I don't like how Ferguson talks.....there, I said it. White kid who talks like he's african american......not a fan of that at all. Not who I want being interviewed after every game as the University of Tennessee starting QB.

    Fo real.

    I also think Jones make like where he is with Worley and Peterman and has his sights set on some 2014 stud QB's.

    I can't say it's ok to lose a recruit to any SEC competitor, especially for a way a guy talks. I may not agree with how someone carries themselves, but I will not penalize them for something like that.

    If he went there and was very successful, you would be saying "Man I wished we would've got that kid", b/c I know I would be saying that. I hope we can keep him committed.

  • Arky's making a push, but Ferguson has said on several occasions that he's still committed to UT. We'll see come Feb I guess...but I am glad to see Chaney & Pittman land good jobs. Just wish we would have held on to one or both of them

    That is a ridiculous comment. You could just say he isn't well-spoken. No reason to paint the picture that black kids aren't well spoken and white kids are.
