1. Tennessee
The SEC pass-catchers discussion has to begin with the Big Orange. Da’Rick Rogers has had off-the-field issues, but his powerful 6-3, 210-pound frame is dripping with ability. When focused (less often than not), Rogers has All-American talent. Yet, he isn’t the best receiver on his own team. That distinction goes to Justin Hunter, who returns to the field fully healthy after missing all but two games due to a torn ACL in 2011. When at full speed, there may not be a better wideout in the entire nation. Adding to this deep group is dependable tight end Mychal Rivera and senior Zach Rogers, giving Tyler Bray plenty to work with. And depth won’t be an issue as newcomers Cordarrelle Patterson - who appears to be ready to live up to his lofty No. 1 JUCO recruiting status - Drae Bowles, Alton Howard and Jason Croom give the Vols the SEC’s best collection of pass-catchers.

Folks need to go ahead and get used to it. With the group of freshman we have coming in, we will set the standard at wideout in this league for years to come

Is there any one WR in the nation better than Rogers or Hunter? I think not... I know we have the best WR group as a whole and it's not even close but I'm having a tough time wrapping my mind around the idea that we may possibly have the #1, #2, and #3 WRs in the country all on the same team. Surely this is impossible...

I would have no problem saying that UT has the Best 3 deep WR corp in the nation. I can't think of any other teams WR corp I would take. Add to that Bray is a Top 3 QB and an O-Line that was great at pass blocking last year and you have a recipe for success in the passing game. Man it's going to be an explosive offense. Can't wait for football season to start.

Great find! It is rare that I agree with Athlonsports ranks but it got this one right. TN's WR core is tops in the SEC and makes a good arguement for being one of the best in the nation.
(Aside: Athlonsports ranks TN #37. On the other hand, it has NCState at #28, NC #29, Utah #33, S. FL #34, GTech #35, and VA #36. WHAT!!!!)

Tough question right there... Besides those two at WR, we really have a lot of unproven and young guys.
I'd keep them and take my chances with the trio of Lane, Neal and Young.

Eh I'd say USCw makes a good argument. Woods, lee, farmer etc. We are pretty dang close though.

I think Rogers and a healthy Hunter are easily in the Top 5 WR's in the country.
Patterson is still unproven at the SEC level, so we can't say he is there yet, but he will definitely get his chance.

No, we weren't great at run blocking last year, but were more than adequate pass blocking. In case that trend continues this year, I say stick with whay we have. Also, injuries happen and 2 is better than one.
