I'm cutting it very tight. Leaving Birmingham at 10 CT to my hotel which is 15 mins away from the Dome. I'm gonna be pissed if I have to sit in traffic.

I make that drive all the time. It sucks on a normal day. The road alternates between 2 and 3 lanes. Lots of traffic and road construction between Leeds and Pell City and again at Oxford/Anniston (stay left when the road splits). There will probably be a lot of cops out that day as well. You are going to be pissed.

It's not great as RTTT points out but it is better than being on I 75

True dat. If history holds it will be a parking lot by 1:00.

There will be a lot of Gypsy lot's, mostly across Northside Dr. from the Dome and I have never had any security problems there. The closer to the Dome the higher the price $15 to $25.There are also lot's on Marietta St North of Stats Sports Bar. Hotel parking, Ga. Aquarium...short walks to the Dome for all of them.

You might seriously considering jumping off 75/85 (we call it the Downtown Connector) at 285 and going west. Then take I-20 into the city. 20 always has less traffic and once you get to it, you should be going against the flow.

Several miles longer, but likely much quicker.

Unless you make alot of stops, you should hit Atlanta around 2:00 or so. I used to live in Caryville and could usually make it to Atlanta in about 4 hours. Safe travels and GO BIG ORANGE!

Guys I wont be leaving chatt until 4:00 eastern. Which means if traffic is good I wont be there until 6ish. What do I do????

I plan on getting in atlanta around 1 and parking at a northern marta station. My friend is leaving knox around 1:30 and parking like i did and meeting me near dome, think we will be ok?
