The NCAA is investigating their recruitment of Javon Robinson, a running back from Memphis. It has already been established that he had his transcript changed (possibly multiple times) by at least one guidance counselor at his high school in order to be eligible to enroll at Auburn. Two guidance counselors, including the one who has confirmed changing his transcript, have since resigned. The Guidance Counselor who changed the grade has said that someone told her to do but she refuses to reveal who that person was (the principal of the high school denies it was him). The speculation is that someone with connections to the Auburn football program paid her money to do this. There is also speculation that some people in the Auburn football program were aware that his transcript had been changed prior to his enrollment. Hence, the NCAA investigation.
