According to Barrett Sallee, SEC Beat Writer of Bleacher Report, Auburn President Dr. Gogue told CBS 8 News Reporter coaching announcement will be made within 24 hours.

Just announced this as well on ESPN College Football Live. Also said Bielema to Arkansas. We'll Mr. Hart? Are we going to let everyone go first so we can pick over the leftovers? Or do you already have your man?

Left overs? They hired two guys that had not really been connected with us. If i am not mistaken Gundy, Strong, Fedora, Golden, Butch Davis, and Petrino are still all out there. Other than Gruden, Fisher, and Stoops, we have not been turned down yet by anyone, from what we have heard. Maybe, Gundy and Fedora are nos. But, Strong was possibly the number 4 candidate after Fisher and Gundy, in realistic terms of candidates.
So, this consternation of where we are at does not make sense to me at all.

How about "Do you have your man?"
My point is that Hart has been extremely quite and I would have thought he was working on a hire weeks before he fired Dooley. If I am going to terminate a manager, I make sure I have a replacement either in waiting or close to it. So is he close or has he dropped the ball? You tell me.
Gruden - knew he wasn't coming
Fisher - Not going to leave FSU - knew this too
Stoops - Leave OU? Really
Gundy - No defense plus why would he leave his Alma Mater?
Butch Davis - Maybe
Fedora - possible
Golden - possible but still unproven
That leaves Strong - Yes and can get it done, or Petrino -Yes - proven winner with baggage.
I only hope Hart "has his man" and will make us proud.
