Auburn's Staff is showing us what a 1st year staff

This coaching staff is currently in the process of pulling of nothing short of a mini miracle. Coach Jones and staff are not only recruiting the lights out but they are laying the foundation for our future. Not to mention they are doing it the right way.
Auburn had a strong class to begin with so what they are doing there is not surprising.
This is a Tennessee board, take your Auburn love somewhere else.

And as his near namesake govols011 noted, he's always silent when good things happen.
That all makes perfect sense to me.

Considering before the coaching changes at both UT and Auburn, Auburn had a top 5-6 ranked class committed and UT had an outside the top 25-30 class committed, now after the changes, Auburn will probably finish outside the top 10-12. that equals regression, UT's class will more than likely finish inside the top 20, that would equal progression. So I'm not seeing how Auburn is showing us how it's done.

I will say one thing, dont necessarily agree with GoVols2011, but I would've like to see Pittman retained. He lived in the same neighborhood as a family member of mine and he REALLY wanted to stay here at UT.
He is a fantastic coach and recruiter.

Maybe , just maybe..... Coach Jones knew what he was doing and brought coaches who can also coach players.

Butch hired a bunch of guys that he trust to be good coaches and to make the team better. Recruiting is only one aspect of coaching. Give it time and you will see!

I hardly ever dv anyone on this board, but I can not can not sit quietly while someone bashes someone else for working their rear ends off. I am more than satisfied with the effort of CBJ and staff. Will the results come? Time will reveal the answer, but I believe they will. I also notice that after insulting the staff's efforts, that you never even posted again to support your arguement or present any facts that could support it. I understand that is disheartning to miss out on several key prospects, but they can only choose one school. We are not overly appealing to a prospect that wants to win big immediately. In a few years, it will be different.

The core of our staff hasn't done anything in the SEC, yet, but I think they are very good X/O coaches. I they Butch has done a nice job of filling in the holes with good recruiters; Azzani, Thigpen, Graham. And I think Butch has the qualities to be a good closer, just needs some wins to stand on. Seems to me like we've got an excellent staff on the hill but it won't matter if they don't find a way to win games early.

Most of there players were already committed before he got hired just like Lawson and I'm sure they knew malzhon from there national championship they were already loaded in recruits beforw chizik left thats just an ignorant post come on
