When we told him we needed him, that wasn't just the traditional recruiting sells pitch. It was the honest to goodness truth. We are in the process of building a very good defensive unit and Aury is a very importnat part of that process.

I have a bad feeling here. Sentimore is a lock. Jacobs seems to almost be a lock. It just seems to good to be true to get Autry and Damien Jacobs let a lone the fact we would be at 25 before Christmas.

The Bulldogs have done a good job of recruiting Autry, too, and aren't out of the picture by any means.

I just read a thread on VolNation that said he comitted to Miss St., but there was no link to verify. Anyone heard this?

UT was happy when they won Croom over them, but like I tell people all the time. build in the factors around the recruit.
He's from Misspi
May be financially easier for his family to come see him play
he's familiar with his surrounding
as fans we don't know. there were many times when Croom was asked "WHY UT?"
Hate to lose out on such a good prospect, but it makes room for another who will be honest and loyal to UT program. IMO
