its like the NCAA selects who they want to go after its bs how much evidence do they need to have before they hammer down on them im sure once saban leaves/retires theyll hit em real hard but not while theyre winning championships

Obviously the NCAA doesn't care what bammy players do and no matter how much the cheat they are not going to be held accountable. The SEC AD's should take this matter up with the commish and make them answer for all these extra illegal benefits. It a damn joke.

I asked the same thing about the men's suit store.........but it appears Bama self reported it asap and only got a slap on the wrist. We will see this time if anything happens. Doug Dickey use to be the king of knowing when to self report and get ahead of things. The key is never be Ohio St or in UTs case with Pearl and lie or cover it up. Get ahead of it. Kind of like in politics and life........if you admit the truth asap and ahead of others reporting it and ask for forgiveness.....things are never very bad in the long run and the short run is even shorter (easier).

Even if it was 35k...........IIRC he came from a very poor family situation like Julio Jones. (now I am not saying UT didnt have some awesom cars back in the day........but Dooley suspended 1 player 2 years ago for a car note that needed to be paid properly.
JMO winning programs and those that are finishing in the top 10 in recruiting are the 1st ones I would look at if I was running the NCAA just to make sure everyone that is BENEFITTING are on an equal playing ground as those that are trying to get there.
I am not saying many really cheat but I would start with those on top or those that finally appear from no where in the top 5 recruiting rankings (or close) like AU did in Chiziks 1st year and OMiss now. I have no problem holding a team like Bama or FL (when Meyer was still there) being held to a bit higher standard level either as they are benefittng MUCH more (over than $80+ million more and Media PR wise etc). I could care less for a team that is going 6-6 ish unless it is serious or easily found/ exposed etc.

im pretty sure if you look throughout history every team that has been successful and had "Dynasty" like programs have cheated in some way or another. Even if they don't win national championships. Nebraska in the 90's with there county scholarship walk on program, Miami early 00's (cars, money, etc.), Bama present (everything under the sun). Im sure UT did some stuff too back in the day. it just seems to me that you have to do some kind of illegal recruiting to be successful and really compete in college football
