Alright, since Wes has so politely asked us to dive in tonight my question goes out to all those "other guys".
Who would yall say is the best role player in the recent history of the great university? Someone who might not have been an NFL type guy, or superstar, but bled orange and played for the team.
I'll throw out Nick Reveiz. He was always an underdog, but proved a ton of people wrong. He always played hard, even though he wasn't the superstar.
Football, basketball... Whatever you choose

Inky was well on his way to playing in the NFL at the time of his unfortunate injury, so I'm not sure he fits the description.

Oh I agree with that. I was just saying after the injury. Josh McNeil fought through a lot as well

One of my favorite guys to watch while I was a student was Ryan Karl. That guy always seemed to be around the action.
If you all are like me then you could probably
name about 100 guys. I might end up doing that before the night is over. It's a pretty vague question.

I always enjoyed watching Xavier Mitchell play (that hit to stop the 2 pt conversion against Air Force was awesome). On offense how about someone like Lucas Taylor or the guy Swain claims only caught TD's Bret Smith.

Not sure he really proved people wrong necessarily, but Grindstaff played with great determination like an underdog. Can't remember first name.

No, I think that's a very good answer. Good college player who's known mostly for the big stop he made against Ohio State in the Citrus Bowl.
