Im sure the guys that everyone had at the top of there list are gone bynow but what is yalls opinion on the best hire we could get now? Mine would be to hire davis try and bring in shannon as dc and keep most of offfensive staff and bring in tee! opinions?

amongst those most commonly mentioned that are left on the board..? i guess either Fedora or Roman. Of those off the board and not mentioned a lot..Dabo Swinney, Tressel, Butch Davis.. Im losing optimism though..

Davis could work; but like I've said in other threads...Tuberville is our best option IMO. Proven winner in the SEC

Fedora is out it appears.
Barring a run at a big name(Tressel, Gruden, Butch Davis) I think you have to bring back Fulmer. He stabilizes the situation. He would be an ambassador to the program nationally. He would recruit at a high level. He would bring back Chief. But more than that he would give us legitimacy while we find a way to fix these ridiculous limitations being placed on us by the academic side.
Hiring our 14th choice without fixing the underlying problems is just asking to be in this same position in three or four years.

Is there any truth to the rumor that the University has already told Hart that Butch Davis would not get their approval?

I hope not some people might not agree but from beggining I thought our best options were 1.gruden 2.strong 3.davis hes proven and says hes cleared
