For the older crowd.
Craig Puki hit on Vegas Ferguson (Notre Dame) 1979 on 4th and goal from the one inch yard line. Goal line stand right before half time kept ND out of the endzone and gave UT huge momentum going to the locker room.
1985 vs Auburn. Can't recall who made the hit, but on the opening kickoff, a UT member just "killed" the Auburn returner at about the 15 yard line.

My favorite was Dale Jones' hit on Bo Jackson in '85, knocked Bo out for the rest of the game. Dale always played bigger than he actually was!

No question about it. It was when Bo Jackson ran right up the middle and stomped across the chest of Brian (the Boz) Bosworth and straight into the end zone in Seattle. Boz and the rest of the Seahawks ran into a buzz saw. I laughed until I nearly cried. Incidentally, the Boz got hurt shoulders and retired at the end of that season. Remember that guy? I know, I know, it wasn't a college game, but it is worth mentioning since it was at offensive guy running right over a hotshot (bigmouth) LB.

That'd be mine. I think I remember Knowshon getting up and trying to sprint back to the huddle like he always did, but he stood up (kind of) and then fell back down. Had to get help off the field. It was awesome

The JJ hit on James or the Berry hit on Moreno (the GA running back) are the two that come to mind because they were recent. But hell, I'm almost 60 and have been watching since I was 6. Trying to recall specific hits by guys named Naumoff, Fischer, Reynolds, Kiner, Delong, Spiva, Walker, Little, Wilson etc, etc, etc......well...there are just too many to accurately picture. And those are just the guys in Orange. There have been some serious "slobber-knockers" happen over the years on Shields-Watkins Field.
