is now 8-7 in the playoffs after getting busted for taping other teams signals and warmups and esp the preSuperBowl walkthrough of the Rams. They were 9-0 prior. Its interesting the NFL destroyed the evidence immediately. IMO they had to do it unless they wanted to strip the titles from NE + expose the NFL and NE to massive lawsuits from teams, fans and people that made/took legal wagers

I think New England year in and year out is still the class of the NFL. No team in recent history has been consistently good to great every year like they have.
Truthfully, 8-7 in the playoffs isn't great, but it isnt horrible. Peyton hasnt been exceptional in recent years in the playoffs and look at the Cowboys in recent years for really bad.
I do agree though that Spygate has played a role in them not winning a 4th or 5th Championship.

Wow looks like we've got a lot of haters on the board.. Ha ha. I, for one, am not. I don't see how you can hate on a guy that comes from nowhere and leads a team to a Super Bowl championship when their veteran starting qb goes down. And just simply continues to win while everything around him changes. Also relative to the team, sure they got caught with spygate, but if you think they were the only team doing that then you are completely naive. They fired a guy and he got mad and ratted them out and they were used as the example for the rest of the nfl. And I don't think it's fair to say that is the only reason they won.. They have won 10 of the last 12 division championships along with 5 Super Bowl appearances and 3 victories.. They just keep winning, with different receivers, different coordinators, different everything.. What other franchise has won more?
