That is an item on eBay...squelch the rumor fast.
Here's the link if anyone wants to buy it for $255...I doubt UTAD would have them on the ebay market if they were going to use them for a surprise.

Yeah.......If there were going to be a time to come out with a big surprise, this game would be it. Florida @ home, SOLD OUT Neyland, Game Day Crew, and all those top recruits at the game. Instant national SWAG!! My guess is we will be wearing orange top and white pants. GBO!!

i would actually rather see a grey and orange with white accent like the baseball team colors... that way still keeps it semi traditional with a cool new edge

I want to see Orange top and bottoms. I also miss the storm trooper uniforms. And the only time I condone anything black for UT is on Halloween, and even then I would still prefer all Orange.

I've seen the new branding palette, and have wondered on whose authority it was cooked up.
I have no problem with black outlines for legibility on white unis. I have a large problem with clown costumes.

All I will say is this, the kids these days like different uniforms. I would be very surprised if coming out in Black uni's Saturday night would hurt our chances in the game and with the recruits. If anything, it would help.

My point is that we are only fans. Let the players who bust their but for the program and help bring us to the top pick what they want. They earned by sacrificing their bodies and time to UT. Let them enjoy it if they want it. I do not care either way just my opinion.

Definitely agree with this. This seems to be a nice added draw for recruits these days. Would probably make an awesome impact on all the recruits coming this weekend if Neyland went bananas and our boys were in cool new unis.

I want to see a gloss white helmet with an orange Power T on both sides and an orange stripe down the middle.
Orange top with white numbers and no black border

I want to see clothed players beating the snot out of Florida and Muschamp. I liked the black on Halloween. I don't think it's a great idea for this game. I want the nation to see us in our defining orange. I want the nation to know we are back.
