Black Jersey's Anyone?

I do agree with the notion of a black-on-black set for a game this season, but UT plays at Vandy, so it would have to be another game. Given Dooley's attention to detail when it comes to the uniforms, there's no way he'd decide to go with black uniforms unless he knew there was a set that actually matched the orange on the helmets.

Yeah I know, some of the players were talking about it being possible the wednesday before, so it was very short notice. Thats what I mean by doing it right.

I say yes. And I'd like them to tap into their inner Oregon and have a flat-black helmet to go along with them.. none of that crazy jazz that Oregon pulls out every week, but just a flat black helmet with the black jersey to match. I absolutely love flat-black helmets they are sick!

You need to check out Missouri's new uniforms. You will like them.

I really don't feel strongly about it either way, but I think the week of Halloween might be kind of a cool tradition. But to me, the uniform variation thing feels kind of "copycat-ish" just because so many are doing it. JMO

Yeah that's right, I saw them in the thread on here a few weeks ago and do remember thinking they were pretty sweet. Just something about that flat-black helmet

Nah.......I honestly didnt think they looked that great plus I am all for tradition. IF we ever do anything like that again it should be out of conference games only and not every season.
I rather spend our time and energy on getting our current home and away uni's better as they have been rather bad for years.
