An interesting thought. I wonder, if he didn't make it to a bowl in his first year, would his penalty carry over to the next time he makes it to a bowl, or would it only affect the first year?

it's a good question. From what i understand, the show cause penalties are only for his FIRST year. So if we dont make a bowl that first year, it wouldnt matter.
