I'm glad I'm not the one getting snowed on for once.
It's funny...out here no one blinks an eye at snow but if we get a heavy rain, people lose their minds. They drive 10 mph slower than the speed limit and talk about it for days.

That's pretty good Denver. The difference between the many societies in the good ole' US of A can be pretty comical at times huh?

It took me 90 mins to get from Jonesborough to Watauga. Usually its about 25 mins. There was like 25-30 vehicles off in ditches, medians, etc.

Here are some pics from Newport. The first one of the Riverwalk was taken around 3:00 p.m., the second one 30 minutes later. It is still snowing here.

I wish HAARP would point those antennas and make it snow here in paulding co. Ga. I'm very jealous of everyone who got snow.

Did you hear about the car in Unicoi county that ran off the road into a raging creek? Mother and 2 kids but no one was hurt.

this 6-8" snowfall (probably closer to 10" now) is more than we had this winter to date - and before everything melted last weekend when temps were in the high 40s and it rained. Problem now is that until the snow gets packed down, parking lots and roads are like someone poured oil on top of the ice...

Well, we had a dusting yesterday... a cool 8 inches. Crazy how when you are used to it/ prepared for it, it really isn't a big deal.
