Sounds like a bunch of garbage to me. Lanier should be on this football team.

I just read this again. Sounds like they have been pro active in reviewing things on a case by case basis. Maybe they had this discussion already...

You might have to remind me, but wasn't Lanier ineligible due to grades? Or was it something else?

Yea Grades...
"We're very conscious that there are some kids that we need to get in athletically who don't have the highest scores," Horne said
Bunch of garbage to me. We needed Lanier very very badly.

I took that as an admissions thing.

Maybe, but then how about Eddrick Loften, I heard he had the grades to qualify, but UT denied him.

Well, that was 3 years ago.
Maybe they eased to let Omari Philips in.

Cheek is learning on the job......I doubt he has ever had anything to do with athletics prior to UT (to this degree)
