Bowl Projection

If somehow Tennessee wins out and goes to a bowl and that is a big IF. Brad Edwards via ESPN.com has Tennessee projected to play in the Music City Bowl on December 31st in Nashville vs Duke. Kind of funny isn't it all people screaming bring Cutcliffe back, so this could be his chance to prove himself. Also another expert has us playing Pittsburgh on January 5th. Just thought it was kind of ironic we could be matched up against the old OC

I've seen Iowa state and Miami as well as opponents in the music city bowl

They seem to be a very tight knit family. He probably wouldn't blitz Tino one time in the game...not that we would get there anyways

I think UT beats either one of these teams (Pitt/Duke). Would be nice to finish with 8 wins at this point.

One thought....we could do like Hawaii with the Aloha Bowl, and create our own bowl game at Neyland Stadium, the "Hillbilly Bowl". We could be the host team every year and invite some big name ," down-on-their-luck" team for an easy post season win. To sweeten the pot, we could give the visiting team tickets to Dollywood!

Nice. Throw in a sack full of Krystals too. Who could be the downtrodden team with cachet this year? Maybe GA Tech, Iowa, Cal?
