These things take time. In today's world we are caught up in the process b/c we have access to real-time information. And mis-information. The latter is the majority of what is out there, which is the reason I really enjoy this site - we have writers w/ combination of best access, great insight and level-headed reporting, w/ sourced articles. In other words, outstanding journalists in the age of the internet. No paid announcement there.
On another note, I'm headed to DC with some folks for the Georgetown game. Pregame beers at Grand Hyatt if you are interested. GBO.

For what it's worth, Pope's Twitter bio says he's a "Sports Editorial Assistant" for the News Sentinel. From what I know about our partners at the News Sentinel, that means he works on the sports desk. In other words, he's not a full-time writer for them, and I have never met him or heard of him.
Not in any way trying to discredit him, but before somebody runs off and starts saying a News Sentinel reporter is saying this ... well, that's not entirely true.
