Sonny Dykes could be the next Saban and we couldn't hire him. People won't support another guy from La Tech, and he's primarily benefiting from Franklin's offense anyway.
Butch Jones got his tail handed to him last year by Dooley, and I fail to see the real attraction.
Chad Morris is good and respected as an offensive mind and a recruiter.
Kirby is Kirby. We'll see. It's hard to tell how much he does and how much he's just carrying Saban's water.

Totally agree on Dykes.
That was last year. Butch's Cincy team has made leaps and bounds since then. He's won everywhere he's been.
Morris is a great offensive mind, but still pretty raw in terms of college coaching experience. I would be hesitant to give him a big job like UT HC so quickly.
Kirby would be a good choice and the #1 choice if UT would take a coordinator, I just don't know if they would at this juncture.

I'll be really upset if we make any one of these hires. If we are unable to get a guy with HC experience that has won already, then that tells me that I should be worried about the overall health of the athletic dept and its leadership. Say what you want about dooley, but he's brought in talent. We have one of the most talented offenses in the country. Contrary to what the numbers might say, we have some talent on defense as well. Enough that somebody bigger than any of the guys Feldman mentioned should be interested.
