Some good points in this thread re: Butch Jones. Doesn't have the resume that some folks have, but he's accomplished. Pleased to hear that people are looking at his track record overall. Like him or not, becoming very tired of hearing the argument that "he lost to Dooley, so he must be terrible." C'mon, that was ONE game, and maybe the best all-around performance of the Dooley era. You have to judge a coach by a larger body of work.

If you don't like Jones, come up with a better reason than that one game. For example, maybe you don't like his recruiting, his game management, lack of creativity, track record in developing QBs, whatever. Just don't hang your hat on one game. Anything can happen in one game.
