i just hope he really adresses defense! we know this guy can coach offense, but we need some big name recruits on defense!

I like that Jones said he is comfortable with the academic structure and that they are students before football players. I am sick to death of hearing about the academic disadvantage that UT has compared to other schools. I mean, it's really not hard to maintain a C average. Now I'm not saying that things are perfect on the academic front, but I feel they have been blown out of proportion as well and just turned into an excuse by Dooley and Hart. These are obviously just my opinions, but I just feel that this has been used as a copout and I'm frankly sick of hearing about it. At least go to class and give a bit of effort and they should be fine.

I'm really impressed at the work Jones is putting in. I'd just like to say for the record that this is the most complicated cover up ever for the hiring of Jon Gruden as our new head coach.(I know he still has all those TV contracts to tie up)
