Great article from Bruce Feldman with tons of CBJ in it. Worth the read, especially if you're a star gazer in recruiting.
A month after National Signing Day and this recruiting nugget caught my eye: the three highest-rated offensive tackles in this year's NFL draft were ranked as a 4-star (Luke Joeckel); a 2-star (Eric Fisher) and a 0-star out (Lane Johnson) coming out of high school.
Good find smasher...here's to CBJ finding more of those diamonds in the rough; my guess is Quinn @ TE is a great example...we'll see.
Great find OP! I get more excited about what Butch is doing on the Hill everyday.

Great teams are comprised of a mix of highly rated guys and underrated guys. Here's hoping our new coach can convince some of the highly rated guys to call Knoxville home and can effectively evaluate some of the lower rated guys that others overlook.

Nice find. Great to know the CBJ can find hidden gems AND develop talent.

BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
A lot of smart people in football, Mortenson, Dilfer, Feldman and others, think Jones is a great HC. Hopefully our fan base can be patient enough to see it. We have a very hard road this year. Making a bowl is well within reach though.
Thanks for posting this story. ".........we're in the developmental business ." Amen brother!
This article makes me think that Woody Quinn will end up being a OT. Him being a volleyball player goes along the same lines of Butch converting b-ball players to OT, and at 6-6, 260 you have to believe they will pack the weight on him.
