I hope they are but facts don't seem to matter to some of these folks. They would rather have a "name." Brian Kelly wasn't Brian Kelly until he got to ND. He came from Cincy to ND. Seemed to be good enough for them and it has seemed to work out as well.

Yes I am a newbie here, but I will take credit for informing everyone of the Big East coach of the year over Strong on a previous thread
. That being said, if it is all legit, and he is our next coach.....in a year from now we can run our mouths and complain about what we don't like about him. Or, all the naysayers may have egg on their faces, and we all brag on him and his staff. Either way. no matter who they hired would be a risk. There was no absolute that said Saban or Miles would be successful in the SEC. They were given a chance and ran with it. Alot can be said for guys having something to prove! They usually work their tails off, and give everything they have to be the best. It could be the same with this hire! Give Jonesy a chance!Sogozit
