Tennessee coach Butch Jones confirmed via Twitter that running backs coach Jay Graham has decided to leave. Here's what Jones said:
Jay Graham has informed us of his decision to accept a position at another institution…(cont.)
The process of adding a new coach to our staff is underway, and we will hire the best person possible as we continue to build our program.

I'm really surprised Butch would tweet that. IMO it call for a press release if not a brief PC. After all the jilted lover posts slow down and this settles in, Jay Graham is a very important part of our history.

I am sure there will be an official press release by the university shortly. Personally, I like the fact that CBJ is keeping the fan-base informed. Even so, I applaud your level-headed statement about Jay Graham's place in our program's history. Whatever his rationale for leveling, Graham has done a lot for our Tennessee. +1

DAMN! Just doesn't add up? If it's $$, should be no problem coming up w/another 100-200k... can't imagine FSU paying more than 350-400k. Something else going on here and it can't be spun positively. HUGE disappointment. Just goes to show that this coaching carousel throughout college organizations is here to stay...maintaining program stability even more challenging
