Does anybody else feel that he has that swagger factor that he is just an all out winner! JRM and I have been talking about how he is that championship swagger to him just wanted to see what y'all think?

well when you win championships at the schools you have coached(regardless of conference) you can have that swagger. UT hasnt had that coach since Fulmer left. And even then it was starting to fade at the end of the Fulmer era.

He definitely seems to be getting after it on the recruiting trail, after just a few days on the job. I think he will open some doors that have been shut (in recruiting), and definitely put a better product on the field next season.

The excitement, passion, swagger and whatever else you want to call it reminds me of a round-ball coach we once hired....may #1 is in our future with this guy....I hope so!

I see what your saying but I asked Jalen about it and he said this is the guy to get you championships and these players know what it takes I promise !

I agree, watching his press conference felt like I was watching Bruce Pearl talk to the media...they have a very similar charisma and demeanor. We certainly all recall what Bruce Pearl was able to do with our basketball program, who's to say Butch Jones can't do the same with football? Confidence goes a long way to success...

I'm not down and am all in for Coach Jones but he still has to prove himself here. I'm not a big fan of swagger until it's earned. He certainly has the right to swagger in the Big East but this is the SEC. I hope he gets to swagger his butt off but...

I can't believe I am in the role of negative nancy but as talented as Jalen is and as great as it is to have him excited and on board, an 18 year old kid does not know what it takes to win SEC championships. Swagger is just a part of it and only as much as it helps recruiting and motivation. Past that it's...just swagger.

Agreed. I want to be FullButch like Ainge, but I'm around 75%Butch til NSD and a couple games. I'm excited and ready folks, and that presser and what he's done so far is the fuse... I just need to wait for the spark after the last 5 years

He has no where near the charisma that Pearl had. How flat was his "I will give my all for TN today".
