The CheckerBoard

I don't know about any one else on here but I have never seen a staff work like this staff has to date. These guys have seamlessly rolled in and in about 2 mo. thrown down 20-25 offers to current and future top-flight /blue-chip athletes from the 2012 class all the way to 2016(pretty sure I saw one offer). Some of these kids only have one or two offers from like Ohio St(or Bama,Ore ect...) and Tennessee...and some have more offers but point being it that the UT is in most of their top lists.

I remember going through our offer and target list the last couple of years and just getting kinda pissed that we missed out on so many great players, and now looking at how this staff has already established the pipeline to assure there is never a shortage of top-flight talent looking at the UT, that perhaps had our recruiting tactics been better, more aggressive or just plain for real with Dools and co...well....Not talking smack man but I don't remember the previous staff hardly even offer juniors very much... Which may be the reason for the lackluster teams we have had even with some great players...bc Dools and co waited too long to form relationships with them bc they waited too long to offer. Granted they would pick up one or two of them but the relationship could and arguably would have been stronger had he came in and started working as hard on freshmen and sophomores as well as he did with seniors and JuCo.

Don't mean to hate on Dools... Just really impressed how this staff has got it soooo together... its what the UT needs. VFL...
