We are ORANGE and WHITE...........JMO we look like copy cats or not proud of our all time unique colors dressing in black. DO AN ALL ORANGE OUT.........try to get the same color or orange and you can direct the next Olympic opening ceremomy too.

IF you can do every other person in orange and then white...............Super Bowl halftime is yours

IMO i think the blackout is more hostile and intimidating. But all orange is cool too. Either way, lets do something. We need a recruiting boost.

Im not saying wear black to get attention, we will already have the exposure. Im saying blackout for appeal. Maybe try some of those new uniforms. We have to catch up on the recruiting trail. Or... orange out.

All we have to do is win. Sure our crowd and atmosphere must improve (and it did last year with some new things done by UT) but we should keep our tradition. Every Nebraska fan I talk to hates that they are losing theirs. Oregon had none so fine. Maryland and others didnt have any either and look horrible more often than not. UGA made a joke out of themselves and their fans hated it too.

We are a top 10 program in the nation when it comes to tradition. Dooley gets it too and has answered this ?.....he is for our tradition. Bama gets this too which I respect. The type of players Dooley wants and that will succeed for 4-5 years at UT is not the type that make a decision on black uniforms or what we really are.

We need to improve where our athletes spend their time........dorms and locker rooms etc.........Hart is making that #1 priority now. That is where we are losing to our competition.........that and the field.

A blackout is done by the fans. IMO the team should wear all orange. But 100,000 folks in black on a saturday night. Maybe some got confused when i included talk about uniforms.

No blackout against Florida. Just a win. Blackout later.

We would never be able to pull off a blackout. Too many traditional fans. It would be stupid. We need to figure out how to convince our fans to cheer and leave it at that. Ever see LSU or Bama do a blackout? No because blackouts are dumb and dont help ANYTHING. Just be loud!

How about the upper bowl and lower bowl for each section alternate between orange and white? That way you have a cool checkerboard look....just saying.

Dooley has said several times, IIRC, that he is not in favor of a blackout. I wouldn't expect to see one.

My friend, trust me on this. A win over Florida will be plenty enough.

I personally think a Black Out would actually limit it us when it came to recruiting. Think about it, we have one of the most prominent, identifiable colors in the country, why would we take that away for black which almost 80% of other teams use?? We ORANGE OUT every week! That's Tennessee football, and thats what makes us so cool. We are unique, and no other school in the country wears their color with more pride than we do! Kids like that uniqueness(or will once we win again...)
