I love the "no press conference; he will just call the school" comment. How refreshing in this day and age of "me, me and me!"
I hope the bitterness towards Garner remains... It appears key to our chances.

I thought the samething. You don't see many mature recruits these days. I also hope that Garner can't repair the relationship.
I still like our chances, but the visit to UA coming up scares me a little.

Rumor has always been Garner is a great recruiter but mediocre position Coach.. The great thing about Lawson is (as said above) he appears to be all about the playing FB where HE FEELS is best fit for him and his talents. He'll play early no matter where he goes. The loss of Thigpen to The Vols really does appear to be a win for us..

I dunno guys, I just have this eerie feeling like AU is gonna make a last push and keep him. I really, really hope I'm wrong. Forgive me, but the five years of getting burned have made me a bit skeptical

Thanks for posting ol'(?) dad. +1 Lawson seems to have some humbleness about him and, like Rockytop said, that is quite refreshing. We really NEED a player of this caliber and if he commits before NSD that would nothing but boost momentum. Think Orange Mr. Lawson. GO VOLS!
